Printed libretto for a comic opera in 4 acts, composed by Adolf Neuendorff. The characters include Fürchtegott Koschtebar, Elfried, Hannah, Lisa, Lupus Sendebold, Toll, and Hans. The booklet was published in connection with performances at Germania Theater, New York City, under the directorship of Neuendorff. No cast list is included. It bears a few annotations indicating its intended use as a prompt-book, and likely belonged to Theodor Bloch's Theater Lending Library, in Philadelphia. The opera is listed in Bloch's catalog for his library, dated 1886 (see box 34).
